PRESSER FOOT LIFT
1. The presser foot lift raises and lowers
your presser foot.
2. When sewing several layers or thick
fabrics, the presser foot can be raised
higher for easy placing of the fabric
under the foot.
RAISE OR LOWER THE FEED DOGS
With the accessory tray off the machine,
the feed dog adjustment lever can be
seen on the base in back of the sewing
machine.
Sliding the lever to the “ “ (b) will lower
the feed dog, for example during button
sewing. If you wish to continue sewing
normally, slide the lever to the “ “ (a) in
order to raise the feed dogs.
The feed dog will not come up until you
turn the handwheel or start sewing, even
if the lever is to the right. Make a complete
turn to raise the feed dogs.
