Using the overcasting foot
Using the standard foot
1. Change the presser foot to the overcasting foot (E).
2. Sew the fabric with the fabric edge against the guide of the overcasting foot.
Attention: The overcasting foot should be used to sew with patterns 06 and 09 only. Do not
set the stitch width narrower than “5.0”. It is possible for the needle to hit the presser foot
and break when sewing other patterns and width.
1. Change the presser foot to the standard foot (T) .
2. Sewing the overcasting along the edge of the fabric so that the needle drops over the edge of
the fabric on the right side.
