The pickup cord ends in a shielded connection box. To connect it to a radio receiver or an amplifier it is
necessary to make use of a shielded cord of weak[small] capacity with 2 conductors. The shield is
connected to the central lug (Fig. 2). To improve the reproduction characteristic, a parallel resistor on
the pick-up was mounted in the connection box. Resistance of: 0.47 M Ohms adaptation (R1 Fig. 2). i.e.
470k ohm
