7. Horizontal movement of the P.U.arm for 7” = 17.5 cm discs [45rpm]
As already known, we must play for gramo. phonographs with a diameter of 7 "the diameter slide in

the handlebar and therefore also the PU arm to move further in. This difference in rotation is
determined by the distance (X). (fig.9) The roller turns tade small handlebar from the inside to the
outside and leaves at a given moment the small steering hook, which shoots back under the influence of
the torsion spring (FIG 9 117) and bumps against the diameter shifter, but now also the large steering
hook is no longer swiveled and the PU is
just above the beginning of a 7 "plate, because the distance of the P.U. is greater than that of 25 cm
(10") plates and the times used are almost the same, the speed for both
