Water pump shaft
- Check that the water pump shaft shows no signs of
wear on the part in contact with the case, in the oil seal
working area, and on the drive.
- Check that the ceramic seal working areas are not
scored or worn.
Water pump rotor
- Check that the rotor is not deformed or cracked.
- Check that the plastic rotor is perfectly integral with
the metal part.

Checking the water pump cover
- Check that the water pump cover is not deformed or
cracked.
- Check the O ring condition.

- Check that the coupling surfaces of the thermostat
cover and the cooling bypass lock slot are not worn or
cracked.
