SMART.SHIFT TECHNOLOGY
Smart.Shift technology offers you not only electric shifting, but
also useful automatic features.
● Safe and energy-saving starting is very important,
especially with e-bikes. START.SELECT can be activated via
the settings on the e-bike or in the app. In this mode, when
the bike stops, it automatically shifts to the starting gear
you have set.
● With PRE.SELECT, the system automatically shifts to the
perfect gear for your speed when riding, without pedalling.
So you can pedal again when going downhill, for example,
without “spinning in too low of a gear” or having to
frantically shift up or down beforehand. You can set
PRE.SELECT to your preferred pedalling frequency via the
app or e-bike menu.
IMPORTANT
PRE.SELECT never shifts into a gear that is lower than the
starting gear you have set.
THE SWITCHING PRINCIPLE
● Briefly pressing one of the two shift levers immediately
triggers the gear shift.
● Pressing several times in succession triggers the change
of several gears in a row.
● The gear shift is carried out when the cranks reach the
vertical position in the pedalling motion.
This targeted shifting in the not so heavily loaded crank
positions is only activated above a certain pedalling
frequency.
● At lower pedalling frequencies, the system switches
immediately.
● A beep signals when the lowest/highest gear is already
engaged.
