4.3.2 Device Deployment
Sub-function options include Cascade Setting, Network Setting, Port Name Setting, Port Delay
Setting, SNMP Setting and Ping Setting.
Cascade Setting
The cascade feature allows the connection of other IPM-8221 PDUs. Users only need to access the
web page of the Master PDU to centrally manage all connected IPM-8221 PDUs.
Please following the steps as below for example.
Step 1. Choose a PDU to serve as the Master role and select the total number of slave PDUs.
Additionally, set specific and unique addresses for each slave PDU. After the modification,
click the Save button to save the settings, then please restart the system to apply the
changes.
