Step 5. If your application is only peer to peer (WDS PtP), then, the connection has been established
successfully. If your application is WDS PtMP, please repeat the Steps 1~4 in the master AP. Each slave AP
in the WDS PtMP topology is only required to configure the master AP’s MAC address.
5.2.3 AP Client Mode (Universal Repeater)
Repeater Mode can repeat and amplify wireless signals to extend wireless network coverage. In this mode,
wireless clients are allowed to connect. When two LANs transmission distances are over the wireless device’s
maximum transmission value, or there is much block among the devices, you can use the Repeater mode to
deal with these problems by adding MAC addresses. The topology shows below:
