The Ceiling Hoist is available with a 2-point Spreader Bar, or a mechanically or
electrically adjustable 4-point Spreader Bar or lt Spreader Bar. A lt Spreader
Bar enables you to bring the care recipient to a seated or lying posion. If you
use an electrical 4-point Spreader Bar, this should be connected with a coiled
cable into the socket indicated (no. 8, Figure 3, page 10). The Spreader Bar
can then be operated using the Hand Control.
The hoist is designed to be used in conjuncon with PLS track,
accessories and slings. Please refer to any user guides supplied
with these components while reviewing this manual.
