8. Appendix
8.1. WarrantyProvisions
PLS provides a 5-year warranty, counted from the date of purchase, for the
AR-200 against failure by virtue of defects in material or workmanship. PLS
does not oer any guarantee on components that are prone to wear and tear,
such as, but not limited to wheels, hoisng belts, slings and baeries.
The guarantee does not cover damage or defects that may be caused to the
AR-200 Ceiling Hoist due to incorrect or imprudent use and repairs by people
who are not suitably qualied. PLS or the distributor will evaluate this.
Do not aempt to remove screws, open the cover or service the product
yourself as this will void the warranty.
In no event shall PLS incur liability for any consequenal or unforeseeable
losses.
PLS retains the right to make adjustments to the product which deviate from
the descripons in this user manual. PLS will not be responsible for this.
Should changes be made that aect the funcon, operaon or form, resulng
in the inability of the user to operate the Ceiling Hoist without instrucon,
PLS will provide updated documentaon. The distributor is responsible for
supplying users with this informaon.
