ADJUSTING THE BAtTERY INTERLOCK
SWITCH
I. Op~n Hie beHows to detent lock~in,
., US(., a n;Jrrow-bladed screwdriver to push
down on the neck of the interlock switch
(Fii!urc 5~:!6). At the same Hme. force down
the interlock front the other side of the
ClJOlCr.J body. This wUl bend the switch
allowing it to make more positive contaCt.

Removal
1. Open the bellows to detent Jo;:k-in <IItd move
tht" focus bar to the extreme CLOSE..lJP
position.
2. Open the banery compartment :md remove
the two batteries.
3. Remove the two Phillips-head scn:ws on the
b<tltery cradle.
4. Unsolder the black shutter lead at the com~
mon central terminal. Cut the bbck timer
lead as. close to the center terminal as: pos-
sible (see Figure 5 ... 27). Remove the battery
cradle.
CUT
5. Remove the screw from (he dOOr latch and
guide the left hand guard out of the camera.
Replacement
I. Route the battery wires through the cutout
at the lower end of the left hand guard llnd
flt the guard onto the camera,
Replace the door latch with the screw.

Remov .... the black le:.ld which comes with
the new b;}Hery cf3dle by cutting it ~II the
way b;u.:k 10 the t .... rmmJI Jlld then soldt:r
both the timer lead and the shuHer lead to
the common tenter terminal of the new
cradic.
4. Po!>ition thl." battery cradle in the came,J
tlnd 5t'cure it with the two PhHlips~head
screws.
$, Repl,u:e the batteries ilnd close the CQmP<J.rt~
ment.
