4.3.16. Code 17 – Even-odd check
This is used for selection of check method by MODBUS communication. It should be in
accordance with the master device.
4.3.17. Code 18 – Bbus mode
This is used in PROFIBUS, with 0 for Method 1 where parameters modification is allowed and 1
for Method 2, where only starter monitoring is performed. Refer to 7.1.
4.3.18. Code 19 – Bus fault
In case the communication control is selected, when the communication bus connection is faulted
(connection failure), the starter may choose a status between: 0: only alarm without stop; and 1:
stop with alarm.
4.3.19. Code 20 – RET terminal control (not be used)
RET: This terminal is multifunctional. When set to different values, the code has different
functions as described below:
0: Used as a remote reset terminal, the same RST function as the STOP key on keyboard;
1: Locks remote control terminals RUN and STOP, which means when RET terminal is connected
to the COM terminal, RUN and STOP will be disabled from controlling starter.
2: Locks communication bus control, which means when RET terminal is connected to the COM
terminal, using bus to control startup and stop of the starter is forbidden.
4.3.20. Code 21 – Language
It allows selection of the user language. User can select English.
4.3.21. Code 22 – Invary void
According to the load type, the user can set a fixed voltage value during the starting period of
motor. Once elapsed the time set in code 23, the voltage will be increased at certain ramp.
4.3.22. Code 23 – Invary time
According to the load type, the user can set the time value for keeping a fixed voltage during the
starting period.
4.3.23. Code 24 – Write protection
When Code 24 is set to 1, parameter modification is not allowed. If want to modify the
parameters, you have to set this value to 0 to modify them.
