ANNEXE A. POWER CABINET OPERATION
4. Interlocking function
o Interlocking between the local operation and the remote operation.
5. Communication function
o CAN bus and the standard RS485 communication port.
6. Characteristic
o Modular design, it can be assembled or integrated into the switch board.
o Enhanced enclosure, it can resist the electromagnetic interference and can meet the
EMC compliance of IEC.
o Setting protection function by PC with SN-2000 software.
o Recording the events (SOE) and can upload by PC.
8.2.1.1. Basic Principle
OCDT protection, two stages
The OCDT I is valid after starting the motor and can set a delay time. It is mainly used for the
short-circuit protection of the motor. Any phase current among A, B, C is larger than the setting
protection value and after delay time, the device will trip at once.
Figure 8.2 Logic diagram of OCDT I protection
The OCDT II is used for the rotor locked protection of the motor. It is valid after starting the motor.
The function can prevent from too long starting time and rotor locked. Any phase current among
A, B, C is larger than the setting protection value and after delay time, the device will trip at once.

Negative-phase-sequence over current protection
The device provide the NPS I protection to prevent the motor from phase loss, serious voltage
imbalance. The NPS II protection can be used for the more sensitive current imbalance and you
can select the action between warn and trip.
