Pre-installation Planning
The UPS, when installed with a S/390 processor, will usually be placed
in a raised floor data center. A cable access will need to be cut in the
raised floor tile to allow for connection to customer power and the S/390
equipment. The following figures represent approximate dimensions of
cable access cuts for 3 standard raised floor tile sizes.

The UPS can be positioned on the right side of the S/390 since S/390
growth adds frames to the left. A recommended distance between the
UPS is one floor tile.
