Anchor bolt installation Summary
The minimum anchor penetration depth requirement is determined by the expansion bolt type. Make
sure that the concrete floor depth can support the required anchor bolt depth:
l Expansion anchors must have minimum 3-1/4” (8 mm) embedment
l Chemical anchors must have minimum 4” (10 mm) embedment
The anchor must be installed perpendicular (90°) to the floor surface.
WARNING:The anchor bolt must be installed perpendicular to the floor surface or the
anchor bolt can loosen with use compromising the connection. This will allow the unit to lift
during use causing possible harm to the exerciser or damage to the unit structure.
WARNING:Review the site survey prior to ANY drilling and make sure that there are no
conditions or obstacles (such as electrical conduit, post-tension rebar, etc.) that could cause
personal or facility damage while drilling.
