Why is my Procom MN100HBG clicking?
    • M
      Mark LawsonSep 9, 2025
If your Procom Heater produces a clicking/ticking noise just after the burner is lit or shut off, it is likely due to the metal expanding while heating or contracting while cooling. This is common with most heaters. If the noise is excessive, contact a qualified service technician.

Why is there a delay when my Procom MN100HBG Heater ignites?
    • K
      Kelly NormanSep 12, 2025
If you experience delayed ignition of burner(s) in your Procom Heater, it could be due to low manifold pressure, which requires contacting your local gas supplier. Alternatively, the burner orifice might be clogged, so clean the burner or replace the burner orifice.

What to do if my Procom Heater sparks but doesn't ignite?
    • J
      Jonathan HarrisSep 12, 2025
If the ignitor button is pressed and there is a spark at the ODS/pilot, but no ignition occurs on your Procom Heater, first ensure the gas supply is turned on and the equipment shutoff valve is open. Also, make sure the control knob is fully pressed in while pressing the ignitor button. If there is air in the gas lines from installation, continue holding down the control knob and repeat the igniting operation until the air is removed. A clogged ODS/pilot can also cause this; clean or replace the ODS/pilot assembly. Check the inlet gas pressure or replace the inlet gas regulator if needed. Ensure the control knob is in the PILOT position, and if you are using propane, check for a depleted gas supply and contact your local propane gas company.

Why is there white powder around my Procom Heater?
    • P
      Paige HunterSep 15, 2025
If white powder residue is forming within the burner box or on adjacent walls or furniture near your Procom Heater, it is likely due to vapors from furniture polish, wax, carpet cleaners, etc., turning into white powder residue when heated. To prevent this, turn off the heater when using such products.

Why do I smell gas when using my Procom Heater?
    • A
      Aaron GilbertSep 17, 2025
If you notice a gas odor during combustion with your Procom Heater, it could be due to foreign matter between the control valve and burner, so take apart the gas tubing and remove any foreign matter. Alternatively, there could be a gas leak, so locate and correct all leaks.
