Probable Cause Action
Error in performing
the test.
Control Solution bottle
not shaken well.
Expired or contaminated
Control Solution.
Control Solution that is
too warm or too cold.
Test strip deterioration.
Meter malfunction.
Read the instructions
thoroughly and repeat
the test again.
Shake the Control Solution
bottle vigorously and repeat
the test again.
Check the expiration date or
the discard date of the Control
Solution.
Control Solution, meter,
and test strips should come
to room temperature
(68–77°F/20–25°C)
before testing.
Please repeat the test with a
new test strip.
