Dear PRODIGY Voice System Owner:
This manual contains important information you must know about the
system. Please read it thoroughly and carefully.
The greatest feature of the Voice system is its speaking function which is an
acoustic aid for users especially with visual disability. Please note that this
function is optional.
Another unique feature is its autocode function which means no need
to calibrate your meter, therefore making it easier for you to monitor your
blood glucose at home.

The control solution should be at room temperature (less than 86°F/30°C) before testing. Also, repeat the test with a new test strip.

      If the Prodigy Blood Glucose Meter test doesn't start after applying the sample, it might be due to several reasons. You may not have used a large enough blood sample, so try repeating the test with a new test strip and a larger sample. The test strip could be defective, so try a new one. Also, make sure you apply the sample when the flashing drop symbol appears on the display; if the meter has shut off automatically, repeat the test with a new strip.

      If your Prodigy Blood Glucose Meter isn't displaying anything after you insert the test strip, the batteries might be dead, so replace them. Ensure the batteries are installed correctly. Also, make sure you're inserting the test strip correctly, with the bar end going into the port first.
