• Problem in Operation
1. If the meter does not display a message after inserting a test strip:
PROBABLE CAUSE WHAT TO DO
Battery exhausted. Replace the batteries.
Battery incorrectly installed or absent. Check that the battery is correctly installed.
Test strip inserted upside down, Insert the test strip correctly with the
incompletely or incorrectly. contact bars end first and facing up.
Defective meter. Please contact Technical Support for help.
2. If the test does not start after applying the sample:
PROBABLE CAUSE WHAT TO DO
Insufficient blood sample. Repeat the test using a new test strip with
larger volume of blood sample.
Defective test strip. Repeat the test with a new test strip.
Sample applied after automatically shut off Repeat the test with a new test strip.
(3 minutes after last user action). Apply sample only when flashing blood
symbol appears on the display.
Defective meter. Please contact Technical Support for help.
