STEP 2 Insert Test Strip
Insert a test strip with contact bars end first and facing up, into the test slot. The meter turns
on automatically and displays the followings in sequence:
“CHK” and “ ” “ ”
“ ”, and flashing “ ”
Voice SPEAKS: “Thank you for using Prodigy Voice.
Test Strip Inserted.
Today’s date is (today’s date). The time is (the time).
Prodigy Voice works only with the Prodigy Voice test strips.
Please apply blood into the test strip.”
