2. Click the Setup Wizard icon and click the Advanced Setup button.
3. Choose the Partition Scheme you want for your RAID volume.
• SmartNAVI running on a Windows PC:
• Primary partition
• Extended partition
• SmartNAVI running on a Mac:
• GUID Partitioning Table
• Apple Partition Map
• Master Boot Record Scheme
Click the Next button to continue.
4. Choose the Create Volume setting you want.
• Automatic
• Manual
Click the Next button to continue.
5. If you chose Manual under Create Volume, choose the type of volume you
want.
• Maximum Capacity – RAID 0, using all disk drives
• Data Protection – Your choice of RAID level, based on the number of
disk drives installed:
