Automatic Mode
When the resistance meter is turned ON, the default measurement mode is AUTO. This mode
automatically controls the resistance range, test voltage and electrification period.
Manual Mode
Press to switch mode to MANUAL. This mode allows the user to manually select the Resistance
Range and/or Test Voltage. If the user does not set the test voltage, the test voltage is to be
automatically set based on the selected resistance range. See Table 4 for test voltages/resistance
ranges.
Use the and arrows to select the desired resistance range. The appropriate LED illuminates to
indicate the selected decade. Press to select the desired Test Voltage.
Auto-Manual Mode
Press to switch mode to AUTO-MANUAL. This mode allows the user to manually select the
Resistance Range. However, the Test Voltage is automatic. After the initial measurement in Auto-
Manual is complete, subsequent measurements start from last measurement value.
