03 MEASUREMENT CONNECTIONS
The resistance meter has either two or three 4 mm safety-shielded banana jack inputs. Receptacles
are separated by ¾ inch spacing (see Figures 4 and 5) to accommodate dual banana plug connectors.
These connectors are used for the Prostat PRF-912B and PRF-922B microprobe resistance
measurement fixtures.

Red Input
The red input is the Positive Test Voltage input. Connect the Prostat red lead to it.
Black Input
The black input is the Negative Current Sensing input. Connect the Prostat black lead to it.
Green Input (PRS-801B only)
The green input is used for shielding and grounding. Recommended for high resistance
measurements.
NOTE
To make measurements in the E-2 range (from 0.01 to 0.09Ω), you must short the leads together
using the supplied shunt (Prostat 800S) and set the meter to Manual Mode.
