INTRODUCTION
AudioRoutingisoneofthefewadvancedfeaturesinneo:X+.
Therearetwomodes,oneisSourceMode,andtheotherisSinkMode.
SourceModeisthelegacyroutingwheretheaudiooutputs1to8arelockedtoHDMIinputs1to8
respectively,withaudiooutputs9and10linkedtoaudioinputs9and10.
SinkModeallowsaudioroutingtoanyoftheaudiooutputzones,enablingtheaudiotobecontrolled
completelyseparatelyfromthevideo.Thesystemhasanaudiolockingfeaturetoenablecontinuous
audiotoanoutputzoneregardlessofswitchingvideosources.
Note: Audio will not be manipulated at this stage, however if audio output are connected to stereo/phono
jacks, the video matrix will downmix the audio automatically. The process will downmix multichannel
audio (Dolby 5.1, not DTS) to stereo (2 ch).
Note: Some changes especially change between Optical/HDMI ARC require to reboot neo:X+ in order
for the changes to take effect.
