Program Codex remotes:
Two separate stages are required to program the Codex remote
Step 1 – Learn the remote into the HSC816
Step 2 – Define button functions.
Step 1 - Adding remotes
Enter programming mode
Select #6. Ready LED will flash slowly
Enter the remote number to be programmed on the keypad 1-8.Key 0 will toggle between Bank 1
and Bank 2 (9 to 16)
The remote number LED will flash.
Press the * key. The buzzer will beep and the instant LED will flash.
Press a button on the remote. The Instant LED will stop flashing and the remote number LED will be
on.
Step 2 - Assigning button functions
Press the “PROG” key. Remote number LED will switch off
Press the button to be allocated a function. (The existing function will be displayed).
Enter the desired function for this button from the table below. Corresponding function LEDs will light
Press “PROG” key to save
Repeat from step 2 for all remaining buttons.
Press the “BYPASS” key to exit programming for this remote.
Repeat from step 1 for all remaining remotes.

To clear a function press the # key
Deleting Codex remotes:
Enter user programming mode Select # 6.Ready LED will flash slowly
Enter the remote number to be deleted.
The remote number LED will flash.
Press the # key, The buzzer will beep and the LED will switch off, indicating a blank location.
Programming keypad buzzer zones: (Keypad buzzer , no siren during an alarm condition)
Enter user programming.
Select # 7.
Select zone numbers to have Keypad buzzer facility
Key 0 will toggle between bank 1, (zones 1 to 8) and bank 2, (zones 9 to 16)
Zone numbers that are lit will be selected for keypad buzzer only
Press “PROG” key to save and exit.
Walk test
Enter user programming.
Select # 8.
Walk test all zones
