  If your Quadient Printer gives a 'DOUBLE FEED (ERROR 02)' error, it could be due to the wrong paper size selected in the driver, media sticking together or overlapping, or no gap between pieces. Check and set the correct paper size in the driver. Adjust the feeder’s sheet separators, check and adjust the media thickness, and reduce the feeder speed to create a 1-2” gap between pieces. Clear media from the printer transport area. Press OK to continue. Use Reprint (on Quick Menu screen) to retrieve/restore any missing or misprinted pages in the print job.

  If your Quadient Printer displays 'FEEDER EMPTY (ERROR 03)', it means there is no media in the feeder or there is hesitation in the media feed. Check and adjust the feeder’s sheet separators, side guides, and rear wedge. Reload the media and press OK to continue.

  If your Quadient Printer is displaying improper output, such as garbage characters or missing data, it could be due to wrong interface settings, a poor connection, a software issue, or a possible static discharge issue. Check the interface settings and connections. Check the software or database on your PC. Pause printing, select records to reprint, and resume printing.

What to do if some Quadient Printer cartridges will not print?

  If some cartridges will not print on your Quadient Printer and the issue follows the cartridge, it could be blocked or clogged, have a cartridge issue, be out of ink, or be an incompatible ink cartridge. Check to make sure the protective tape is removed from the printhead. Clean and purge the cartridge nozzles as described in the section titled “Ink Cartridge (Printhead) Care”. Install a new ink cartridge. Use the “Ink Status” feature in the “Quick Start” menu to verify that the printer is recognizing the ink cartridge as a valid supply item.
