6.0 Ba• eries, charging and range
6.1 Usage of Ba• ery
Fully charge the new ba• ery prior to its ini• al use. This
brings the ba• ery up to 90% of its peak performance level.
Give the ba• ery a full charge (The green LED on the charger
lights) a• er every use and operate your wheelchair again, the
ba• eries will perform at over 90% of their poten• al. A• er
four or •ve charging cycles, the ba• ery u• liza• on rate is close
to 100%, extending the ba• ery lifespan.
A• er ba• ery failure, please be sure to buy new ba• eries
and replace them as required, and the old ones must be
returned to the supplier for disposal to prevent environmental
pollu• on.
In the case of not using, it is recommended to charge the
ba• ery every two weeks, and use it for more than 20 minutes,
which can extend the life of the ba• ery.
It is forbidden to charge outdoors, and pay a• en• on to keep
away from •re and heat source when charging. Please put
the product in the open, clean, dry and ven• lated place with
no •ammable, explosive or chemical substances around.
Ba• eries replaced or scrapped shall be recovered and
disposed of in accordance with local laws.

6.2 Usage of Charger
The ba• ery charger is an important component of wheelchair.
The wheelchair can reach full charge by simple and fast
charging.
Use charger to charge the ba• ery:
• Make sure the controller is turned o! and the rechargeable
ba• ery is connected to the controller.
• Connect the three-pin metal plug of the charger to the
three-hole interface of the controller
• Plug the other end plug of charger into a standard socket.
The blue light is on when charging and the green light is on
when the ba• ery is fully charged.
• A• er ba• ery is fully charged, remove the power line and
charger.
DANGER!
• Do not, under any circumstances, tamper with the ba• eries.
If in any doubt contact your local Sunrise Medical authorized
dealer.
• Do not leave the ba• eries/ba• ery pack una• ended while
charging.
