6.5 Ba• ery warranty:
Ba• ery warran• es are subject to periods set by the manufacturers. However, most of these warran• es are subject to a wear
and tear clause, and if you genuinely wear out your ba• eries in 6 months, it will not be possible to obtain a replacement under
warranty.
6.6 Replacing ba• eries
• The wheelchair uses a 24V Li-Ion ba• ery which is fully sealed and requires no maintenance.
• Replacing and servicing ba• eries is to be done by quali! ed specialist.
• In case of malfunc• oning ba• eries, contact your local dealer.

6.7 Air Transporta" on of the wheelchair
The wheelchair and the single 24V Li-Ion ba• ery has air transport cer• ! ca• on to the Interna• onal Air Transport Associa• on (IATA)
regula• ons.
Individual airlines have di" ering requirements rela• ve to transport of products with Li-Ion ba• eries. Prior to arranging any air travel
with the wheelchair, please con! rm with your airline or carrier that they accept ba• ery-powered vehicles under UN classi! ca• on:
UN3171. Note: The pilot of the aircra# has the ul• mate decision to allow or deny travel of any device onboard the plane.
If your airline accepts the UN3171 classi! ca• on, the following steps will be necessary to prepare your wheelchair for air travel.
• The ba• ery must have a maximum charge of 30%. We recommend to completely discharge your ba• ery un• l the gauge shows
the single red LED in the ba• ery display reference Fig 5.1 – item 2 (on page 18).
• Disconnect the ba• ery from compartment ‘A’ in Fig 6.2 (on page 24), and store the discharged ba• ery in the spare ba• ery
compartment ‘B’.
• Ensure the ba• ery is correctly clipped into place, and the latch is in place.
• Carefully pack your wheelchair in the original packaging for transport to the airport.
