8.2 Instructions regarding the spreading operation
The intended use of the machine includes complying with the prescribed process
stipulated by the manufacturer. Spreading therefore always includes prepara-
tion and cleaning/maintenance.
 Carry out spreading operations as described below.
Preparation
 Installing the spreader on the tractor
 Closing the metering slides
 Presetting the mounting height
 Filling in the fertiliser
 Adjusting the application rate
 Setting the working width
- Selection of the correct spreading disc
- Adjusting the drop point
Spreading
 Travel to the spreading location
 Check the mounting height
 Switch on the hydraulic system

1. For the load sensing system, the hydraulic circuit of the accessory equipment is always under
pressure.

Activate spreading disc start
 Open the slide and start spreading
 Finish spreading operations and close the slide
 Discharge residual material
Cleaning/maintenance
 Open metering slide
 Remove the spreader from the tractor
 Cleaning and maintenance
