Each360-degreecircleshouldtakenolessthantwominutes,and

1.Startmovingvesselinslowevencircles,thenpressSTART.
2.Keepspeedtobelow2knots.Watchthedisplaytoensureyour
turnrateisnottoofast.Ifthemessage‘SlowDown’isdisplayed
reduceyourrateofturn,thiscanbeachievedbyslowingdown
and/orsteeringinawidercircle.
Ifa’SlowDown’messageisdisplayedthecurrentcirclewill
havetoberepeated.
3.Whenthecompasshasbeencalibrated,amessagewillbe
displayedshowingthedetecteddeviation.Ifthisismorethan
15degreesyouwillneedtoabortthecalibrationprocessand
resitethecompassfurtherawayfrommetalitems,thenrepeat
thecalibrationprocess.Ifyoustillndadeviationofmorethan
15degrees,contactyourRaymarinedealerforadvice.Ifthe
deviationiswithinacceptablelimits,pressCONTINUE.
YoucancancelSeatrialcalibrationatanytimebypressing
