22.Applyathickbeadofmarine-gradesealant:
i.inacontinuousbead,allaroundthebaseofthetransducerstemandanti-rotationbolthole.
ii.allaroundthethreadedsectionofthestemandprotrudinganti-rotationbolt,ensuringthatthe
sealantwillprotrudeapproximately6mmabovethefinaltightenednuts.
iii.inacontinuousbead,allaroundtheperimeterofthetopfaceofthetransducer.
iv.alloverthetopfaceofthetransducer.
v.allaroundthetransducerstemandanti-rotationholes,ontheexteriorofthehull.
23.Guidethetransducerstemandanti-rotationboltupthroughtheholesinthevessel’shulland
supportfrombeneath.
24.Frominsidethevessel,applyacontinuous,thickbeadofmarine-gradesealantallaroundthe
baseoftheprotrudingtransducerstemandanti-rotationboltthreads.
25.Guidetherubberwasherdownthetransducercable,andoverthethreadedsectionofthe
transducerstem,ensuringthattherubberwasherissittingflushonthehull.
26.Applyadditionalmarine-gradesealanttothetransducerstem,abovetherubberwasher.
27.Withthetopfacepointingupwards,guidethespacerdownthetransducercableandoverthe
transducerstem,ensuringitsitsflushontherubberwasher.
