31.Applyathickbeadofmarinegradesealanttothebottomfaceofthehullnut.
32.Screwthehullnutontothetransducerstemandtightenbyhand.
Ensurethatthehullnutisadequatelytightened.Y oushouldseethesealantprotrudingfrom
theedgesofallappliedsurfaces.
33.Securethehullnutbyfeedingapieceoflockingwire(notsupplied)throughtheholesinthenut
andthentightlywrappingaroundthethreadedsectionasclosetothetopofthenutaspossible .
Thewireshouldthenbetiedtopreventitcomingloose.
Lockingwire
34.Placethesmallwasherovertheanti-rotationbolt.
35.Applyadditionalmarine-gradesealanttotheanti-rotationboltabovethesmallwasher .
36.Screwtheanti-rotationnutontotheboltandfullytighten,usingasuitablesizedwrench(spanner).
37.Removeanyexcesssealantontheoutsideofthehullandtransducer.
38.Ensurethatthemarine-gradesealanthasfullycured
