GyroPlus yaw sensor
S1 WheelP ilots do not contai n a builtin Gyro, but you have the option of adding:
• a dealerfitted in ternal GyroPlus (part number: A1 8069)
An in ternal gyro is fitted as standa rd to the S1 T illerPilot
Handheld remotes
T wo wireless Raymarin e handheld remo te control systems are avai lable:
• the Smart Controller system c an act as the sole p ilot controller in your system
or as a fullfun ction remote for systems with o ther fixed pilot cont rollers.
• the comp act S100 Controll er system gives you full course control away from
the main steering position
External alarm
T he SmartPilot sound s all critical alarms from al l controllers . On large or noisy
boats y ou can fit a Raymarine external alarm (part number: Z035, connected
throu gh E85001 in terface box) as a high volume audible repeater .
Wind vane
T he SmartPilot comp uter can use wind angle in formation from a wind vane or
instrum ent to maintain a course relative to the wind. You can p rovide wind angl e
informa tion to the autopilo t system by connecti ng it to a suitable SeaT alk or
NMEA instru ment (providing wind angle and speed inform ation).
