2.3 How do I display boat data?
Use the
disp
button to sh ow ‘data pages’ of SeaT alk or NMEA data:
1. Press
disp
to access the first data page , and press it again to cycle throug h
each data page in turn:
when you cycle past the last data page, the display returns to the current
SmartPi lot mode screen (for example, AUTO).
4 dat a pages are set in the facto ry as a default (see dia gram): within User
setup yo u can select up to 15 pa ges and control the info rmation they dis
play (see
SmartPilo t Comm issioning Guide
).
Notes: (1)
If the SmartPilot sy stem cannot obtain the requir ed information, the data
page will show dashes ins tead of a value.
(2)
The directio ntosteer arrows relate to the data pag e information.
(3)
Most data pages show repeated data so you cannot adjust them: the
exceptions are the
RESPONSE
and
RUDDER GA IN
data pages ,
which you can adjust us ing the

and
+1

Can I display Waypoint names?
If way points have been given names , the SmartPilo t controller will display them
on the Cro ss T rack Error (
XTE
), Bearing T o W aypoin t (
BTW
) and Distance T o
Waypoint (
DTW
) data pages:
way point names of five characters or less are di splayed together with th e
page na me (as shown by screen

below).
way point names of more than five characters alternate with the page name
(as shown by screen

below).
