SmartPilot alarm messages
When the SmartPilot detects a fault or failure on the system, it will activate one of
the alarm m essages listed in the follo wing table .
• Unless otherwise stated , you should resp ond to the alarm by p ressing
standby
to clear the alarm and return to manual control, before you attempt
to resolve the prob lem.
• In some situ ations, the SmartPilot will raise more than one alarm. When you
have dealt with the first al arm, it will display the next alarm.
The Smart Pilot appears to be
unstable on Northe rly
headings i n the Northern
hemispher e (or Southerly
headings i n the Southern
hemisphere)
Nort herly/Southerly headin g correction (AutoAdapt)
is not set up (see SmartPilot Commissioning Guide).

Seatrial calibration lock is on – turn off the calibration

The Smart Pilot will not ‘talk’
to other SeaTalk instruments

The Autopilot is connected to a Raymarine Pathfinder
unit with the “Br idge NMEA Heading” option
switched on. Dis able this feature o n the Pathfinder
unit.
