Theinstallationlocationmusttakeintoaccountthefollowing
requirements:
•Installbelowdecksinadryarea.
•Mountonaverticalsurface,thesidesandtopmustbelevel.
•Locationmustbeatleast1m(3ft.)awayfromanymagnetic
compass.
•Safefromphysicaldamageandexcessivevibration.
•Awayfromanysourceofheat.
•Awayfromanypotentialammablehazard,suchasfuelvapors.

UsethisproceduretoinstalltheSPXcoursecomputerasapartof
yourinboardautopilotsystem.
Important:Theinstallationmustonlybeperformedwiththeboat
eitheronhardstanding,ortiedupalongsideapontoonorberth.
1.Mountthecoursecomputerinanappropriatelocationand
securewiththescrewssupplied.

Youshouldalsomounttheuxgatecompass,autopilotcontroller
andrudderreferenceunit(ifappropriate)atthistime.
2.Routethepower,data,compassandanyothercablesrequired
forconnectiontothecoursecomputer.
3.Makeallnecessaryconnectionsintothecoursecomputer
connectorpanel.
