Afterinstallationyoushould:
1.Performaninitialpower-ontestofthesystem.
2.Commissionthesystemincludingcalibrationofthecompass
andsetupoftheautopilotcharacteristics.
Important:Beforeusingtheautopilotsystemitisessentialthatit
isproperlycommissionedinaccordancewiththecommissioning
instructionsprovided.

installation
Thesechecksshouldbecarriedoutafterinstallation,andpriorto
thecommissioningoftheautopilotsystem.
1.Switchonpowertotheautopilotsystemandassociated
equipment.
•Coursecomputer
•Autopilotcontroller
•SeaTalkand/orSeaTalk
ng
databus(ifthesehavetheirown
separatesupply).
2.Checkthattheautopilotcontrollerpowersup.Ifthedisplayis
blankpressandholdthePowerkeyfor1second.
3.Checkthedisplayforerrormessagesthatcouldindicatea
problemwiththeinstallation.
