Setting your Password (Locking the System)

1. Use the nmnbe_ buttons on the remote to ,'nt*'r a four digit password and piess OK

Ihess the down arrow to highlight leue/and press OK. Use the up and down arrow buttons to choose the desired tadng limit yot_ want, and press OK

(all limits above that will also be locked).

Notes: You'll need to enter the password every time you access the Lo& menu.

The player is shipped without any rating limits set. You need to set Ratings Limits in order for the player to prevent people from

playing discs with certain ratings.

Change Password

1. Us_"the numbrr buttons on the Jemote to entre your current passwoJd and pJess OK (the New password scle_-nsappems).

2. Entel yore new password and press OK. Io confirm, enter the password again and p_ess OK.

Note: If you forget your password, you can reset it by using the factory default password 9866. You'tl want to then change the

password to a new one and lock the parental controls again,

Clock

EP (Extended Play) Normal qualit), (approx. 4 houls _ecordJng time pe_ disc).

EP+ (Super Extended Play) Basic quality (applox. 7 hours lecording time pel disc).

SLP (Supo Long Play) Iow quality (approx. 8 horns lecording time per disc).

Note: By selecting a recording mode, you define the picture quality of recordings

and the maximum recording time for a disc. For playback, the correct picture quality

will be automatically selected.
