j) Assembling the Main Landing Gear
The construction kit also contains wheel covers.
If you want to start your model on unpaved flight areas
(e.g. grass), we recommend not installing the wheel
fairings.
These operating instructions show assembly with the
wheel covers.
Install the main landing gear to the fuselage with screws M4 x 15 mm
and the drive-in nuts (figure 7a).
Then install the wheel axes (screws M4 x 45 mm) to the main landing
gear (figure 7b).
For this, push the wheel covers, a washer, a nut M4 and last the wheels
onto the axes in sequence.
Screw the wheel axes to the main landing gear.
Install another M4 nut onto the thread protruding from the wheel covers.
It must be secured with threadlocker varnish.
k) Mounting the Elevator and Rudder Servos
Install the servos for elevator and rudders as shown in figure 8.
If you want to equip your model with a combustion engine,
you need to install a third servo for carburettor control to
the servo tray.
Depending on this, the installation position of all 3 servos
must be adjusted to the respective requirements.
