7. Battery safety information
Batteries present numerous safety hazards.
Thus, it is imperative that you observe the following general information and safety notes when
handling batteries and rechargeable batteries.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave batteries lying around, as they present a choking hazard for children and pets. Seek im-
mediate medical advice if a battery is swallowed.
• Batteries/rechargeablebatteriesmustneverbeshort-circuited,takenapartorthrownintore.Danger

• When handling leaking or damaged batteries, always use suitable protective gloves to avoid burning
your skin.

ies which are intended for this purpose (1.2 V); use suitable battery chargers. Batteries (1.5 V) are meant
to be used once only and must be disposed of when empty.
• Please observe the correct polarity when inserting batteries or connecting to a charger (observe posi-
tive/+ and negative/-). Incorrect polarity may damage the transmitter, the quadrocopter and the batteries.

• Always exchange the entire set of batteries. Do not mix full batteries with half-full ones. Always use bat-
teries of the same type and manufacturer.
• Never mix disposable batteries with rechargeable batteries. Use only standard non-rechargeable batter-
ies for the remote control transmitter.
• If the device is not used for a longer period of time (e.g. storage), take out the inserted batteries of the
remote control to avoid damage from leaking batteries.
