Blind spot warning
Usinginformationfromthesensorsin-
stalled on each side of the rear
bumper (area C ), the function warns
the driver:
– when a vehicle is in the blind spot
area A andtravellinginthesamedi-
rection as your vehicle;
and/or
– when there is a risk of collision with
a vehicle that is in the B areaanddri-
ving faster than you on an adjoining
lane.
Thefunctionwarnsyouwhenyourve-
hicleistravellingataspeedaboveap-
proximately 9 mph (15 km/h).
The function does not notify
thedriveriftheothervehi-
cles are not moving.
Thisfunctionisanaddi-
tional driving aid. This
function is not under any
circumstances intended
toreplacetheduecareandatten-
tion of the driver, who should at all
times be in control of the vehicle.
