– the windscreen is not clean;
– the camera is blinded by the sun;
– there is insufficient visibility (fog,
etc.);
– the signs are not legible (snow, etc.)
or are hidden (by another vehicle or by
trees);
– the information taken from the map
is not up to date.
Note:whenthefrontcameraisob-
scured, the "Front camera no visibility"
messageisdisplayedontheinstru-
ment panel. Clean the windscreen
area in front of the camera.
Operating faults
When the system detects an operating
fault, the isdisplayedonthein-
strument panel.
In some cases, they are accompanied
by the following message:
– «Drivingassistunavailable»;
or
– «CheckFrontcamera»;
or
– «CheckDrivingassist».Consultan
approved dealer.
Thisfunctionisanaddi-
tional driving aid. This
function is not under any
circumstances intended
toreplacetheduecareandatten-
tion of the driver, who should at all
times be in control of the vehicle.
The driver must always adapt
their speed to the highway code
and traffic conditions, regardless
of system indications.
The system may not detect all
speed limit signs or may interpret
them incorrectly.
The driver should not ignore signs
thatarenotdetectedbythesys-
tem and should, as a priority,
comply with the traffic signage
and the highway code.
In the event of poor visibility (fog,
snow, frost, etc.), it is possible
that the system may not indicate
the correct speed to the driver
Active driver assist
The "Active driver assist" is a driving
aidsystemforuseoutsidebuilt-upar-
eas, on wide roads with visible lines.
This system consists of the "Adaptive
cruise control Stop and Go" func
tion 🡺252 and the "Lane Centring"
function.
This system enables the driver to:
– maintain vehicle speed based on a
previously stored speed;
– adjustthedistancebetweentheirve-
hicle and the vehicle in front;
– direct the trajectory of the vehicle in
the lane;
– adapt the vehicle speed to the speed
shown on the road signs, automatically
orafterconfirmationbythedriver(de-
pending on the vehicle).

Dependingonthecountryandsub-
scription, based on information from a
radar, camera or map data sent via a
GSM connection, the Stop and Go
adaptivecruisecontrolmakesitpossi-
ble to maintain a selected speed,
known as the cruising speed, while
keepingasafedistancefromthevehi-
cle in front in the same lane.

maticallytoaspeedlimitchange(de-
pendingonthecountryandsubscrip-
tion).
