In addition to the "Park Assist" function
🡺268 and using information from the
four central sensors located at the rear
of the vehicle, the system detects fixed
obstacles located behind your vehicle.
If there is a significant risk of collision,
the system automatically causes the
vehicle to brake.
Note: make sure that the four central
sensorslocatedattherearofthevehi-
cle are not obscured (by dirt, mud,
snow, etc.).
Operation
Fixed rear obstacle detection
When in reverse gear and moving at
between approximately 2 mph and 6
mph (3 km/h and 10 km/h), if there is a
risk of collision with a fixed obstacle,
the system automatically brakes the
vehicle. A visual warning 2 is
displayed on the multimedia screen 1 ,
accompanied by a beep.
Oncethevehiclehasstopped,theve-
hicle must be held stationary by the
driver keeping their foot on the brake
pedal.
Thisfunctionisanaddi-
tional driving aid. This
function is not under any
circumstances intended
toreplacetheduecareandatten-
tion of the driver, who should at all
times be in control of the vehicle.
