socket

side of the vehicle for charging up to 7
kW.

side the charging flap:

Precautions
Avoidchargingandparkingyourvehi-
cle in extreme temperatures (hot or
cold).
Under extreme conditions, charging
maytakeseveralminutesbeforestart-
ing(timerequiredforthetractionbat-
tery to cool down or warm up).
When the vehicle is parked for more
thansevendaysintemperaturesbe-
low approximately -25°C, charging the
tractionbatterycanbecomeimpossi-
ble.
When the vehicle is parked for more
than three months with near zero
charge,chargingthebatterycanbe-
come impossible.
The energy level available depends on
thebatterytemperature.Itmaythere-
fore vary between stopping and
restarting the vehicle if the battery is
cold or warm.
To preserve the service life of your
tractionbattery,avoidparkingthevehi-
cle for more than one month with high
charge, especially when the weather is
very hot.
Favourchargingthetractionbatteryaf-
ter driving and/or in mild temperatures.
Otherwise, charging may take a longer
periodoftimeorevenbecomeimpos-
sible.
It is preferable to recharge the vehicle
after driving if the charge level is low (<
25%) and in negative temperatures.
Advice
– In high temperatures, try to park and
rechargethevehicleinashaded/shel-
tered location;
– charging can be performed in the
rain or snow.
Recharging the traction battery
