52 - Getting to know your vehicle
Insertthehandstrapintothecompo-
nent 8 and pass the end of the strap
through the buckle.
Position the strap at the opening 6 and
close the casing.
Note: check that the diameter of the
hand strap cord 7 fits the opening 6 .
Use
There are three ways to unlock/lock
the vehicle:
– in"hands-free"mode,whenap-
proaching and moving away from the
vehicle;
– using the card in remote control
mode;
– by using the digital key as a remote
control (depending on the vehicle). For
further information, please see the
"Digital key" section 🡺58.

Deactivating/activating the "hands-

Never leave an animal,
childoradultwhoisnotself-suffi-
cient alone in your vehicle, even
for a short time.
Theymayposearisktothem-
selves or to others by starting the
engine, activating equipment such
as the electric windows or locking
the doors.
Also, in hot and/or sunny weather,
pleaserememberthatthetemper-
atureinsidethepassengercom-
partment increases very quickly.
