56 - Getting to know your vehicle
Thehazardwarninglightsandsidein-
dicator lights give two slow flashes
and three quick flashes to confirm
locking.
Depending on the vehicle, the door
mirrors may fold in automatically when
the vehicle is locked 🡺141.
To deactivate deadlocking
Press button

once.
The hazard warning lights flash once
to indicate that the doors have been
unlocked.
Depending on the vehicle,
you may have a digital key
that offers all the functions
of the card. However, if a card
has been left inside the vehicle
and the doors have been locked
with a digital key, all of the card's
functions will be inhibited.

Battery
Replacing the battery
When the "Card battery low" message
appearsontheinstrumentpanel,re-
place the battery in the card:
slide the rear casing

downwards
while pressing on area

remove the battery cover

remove the battery by pressing on
one side and lifting the other;
replace it according to the direction
and template shown inside the cover.
To refit, proceed in the reverse order
then press one of the buttons on the
card four times while you are near the
vehicle: the next time the vehicle is
started, the message will disappear.
Check that the cover is clipped shut.
Note: when replacing the battery, do
nottouchtheelectroniccircuitorcon-
tacts on the card.
The batteries are available
from approved Dealers,
andtheirservicelifeap-
proximately two years. Check that
there is no dye on the battery: risk
of an incorrect electrical contact.
