AIR CONDITIONING (continued)
Air conditioning controls
Control D switches the air
conditioning system on and off.
Using the air conditioning system
allows you to:
• lowers the temperature inside the
passenger compartment,
especially in hot weather, when
driving in traffic or when the
vehicle has been parked in the
sun;
• reduces the humidity of the air
blown into the passenger
compartment (prevents misting).
Note: The air conditioning may be
used in all conditions but does not
operate when the external
temperature is low.
Indicator light D1 goes out
The air conditioning is not
operating.
In this case, ventilation is the same
as for a vehicle without air
conditioning.
Indicator light D1 lit
Air conditioning is in normal mode.
Air is taken from outside the
vehicle, providing a continuous
supply of fresh air.
