OPERATING FAULTS (continued)
Electrical equipment CAUSES REMEDIAL ACTION
• The wipers do not work. Wiper blades stuck. Free the blades before using the
wipers.
Fuse blown (intermittent, stop
position).
Change them.
Motor faulty. Contact a RENAULT Dealer.
• Direction indicators flashing more
quickly:
blown bulb; replace the bulb.
• The indicator
lights
do not work.
On one side only: - bulb blown; replace the bulb.
- Feed wire disconnected or
connector out of position;
reconnect the wire.
- Faulty earth connection. Find earth wire and remake a good
clean wire-to-earth connection.
On both sides: - fuse blown; replace fuse.
- Flasher unit faulty. Replace: contact a RENAULT Dealer.
