INSTRUMENT PANEL (continued)
The presence and operation of the warning and indicator lights described below depend on the vehicle
equipment and country.
8 Battery charge warning
light
It should go out as soon
as the engine starts.
If it lights up when you are
driving, it indicates that the
circuit is overcharging or is
discharging. Stop and have the
circuit checked.
Oil pressure warning
light
This lights up when the
ignition is switched on and
goes out within 3 seconds. If it
lights up while you are driving,
stop at once and switch off the
ignition. Check the oil level. If
the level is correct, the light has
lit up for another reason,
contact a RENAULT dealer.
Handbrake on and
brake circuit fault
warning light.
If it lights up when the brakes
are applied, it indicates that the
fluid level in the circuit is low.
It may be dangerous to
continue driving, contact a
RENAULT Dealer.
8 Low fuel level warning
light
It goes out as soon as
the engine starts.
If it lights up or remains lit, fill
up with fuel as soon as
possible.

Electronic Stability
Program (ESP) and
ant-skid control
indicator light
The indicator light may come on
for several different reasons; see
section 2, and specifically the
paragraph on Electronic
stability control: ESP and
ant-skid control.
