5.2 Correction Processing
The following provides a detailed explanation of correction processing.
(1) Generating waveforms for measurement
As shown in Figure 5.2, the middle-speed on-chip oscillator (MOCO) frequency is divided by N to generate a
waveform for measurement. Increasing the value of N provides a more accurate measurement. However, the final count
results from TAU0 channel 3 must be within the 16-bit range. Table 5.2 shows the corresponding measurements
(count) based on combinations of Max, Typ, and Min values for MOCO (4MHz ± 12%) and HOCO (24MHz ± 1%).
